JENNIFER WADE, M.Ed., BCBA

Jennifer is co-host of The Autism Show.

A native of rural Pennsylvania, Jen pursued higher education at the College of William & Mary. While trying to figure out what to do with a Psychology and Music major, she was fortunate enough to stumble into a part time job working with a child with autism.  It was clear to her from the beginning, she had found her passion.

After finishing college, she moved to Richmond, VA to explore the field professionally.  There she worked for the small pilot program in the first intensive behaviorally-based school for student with autism. Since that time, she has trained with and worked for the Faison School for Autism, Dominion School for Autism, and Virginia Commonwealth University’s Autism Center for Excellence.  She received her Masters in Education (with an endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education) from VCU in 2004 and completed her coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis from Penn State University in 2009.  As a licensed teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Jen currently works as an educational and behavioral consultant for children with autism and related disabilities and their families.

Jen met Don in 1999 and married in 2003.  Their six-year-old red head, Luke, keeps things real and keeps them laughing!
